Battery installation precautions

(1) As a live product, the battery should be specially trained. During the installation process, all metal parts (including watches and rings) should be removed, using insulated tools, code protection glasses and rubber gloves. Circuit polarity, it is not easy to operate or disconnect the online circuit.

(2) Thoroughly inspect the battery casing before installation to ensure that there is no transportation or other physical damage. For suspicious points of oil wetting, one end of the voltmeter can be connected to the end post and the other end to the wet end. If the voltage is 0, the casing is not broken: if the voltage is greater than 0, it means there is acid in it, so check it further.

(3) The voltage of each battery should be measured before installation, at least 2V/cell. Before the battery is installed, when the battery open circuit voltage is lower than 2.08V/cell, the battery should be charged in time.

(4) Clean the battery end post before installation to remove the oxide layer on the surface of the end post. The battery end post forms an oxide film in the air, so it is necessary to clean the end post connection surface with a copper wire brush before installation to reduce the contact resistance.

(5) When installing, ensure that there is a space distance of 12mm between the batteries so that the battery can be cooled by air convection.

(6) A certain space should be maintained above the battery for future maintenance.

(7) Pay attention to the bolts during installation. It should not be forced to rotate to damage the thread, causing blockage or breakage.

(8) There should be installation drawings when installing. It is best to put the end posts of the battery in the same direction and connect according to the installation diagram to avoid short circuit during installation. The connecting wrench must be insulated for a period of time.

(9) When each group of series battery packs is not connected in parallel, the open circuit voltage difference between them should be within 1V.

(10) After the connection is completed, the anti-oxidation oil should be properly applied to the end column, but the coverage of the anti-oxidation oil should not be too large to avoid affecting the daily maintenance measurement; also note that the anti-oxidation oil should not be contaminated on the battery cover and the frame. So as not to accelerate its aging.

(11) After installation, the open circuit voltage of each end point should be detected, and the voltage between the battery and the battery rack should be measured to ensure that no grounding conduction occurs between the battery and the battery rack. At this time, the voltage should be zero. If not, you should find out the cause before the operation.
