Do not let ASUS single-handedly Acer, HTC push quad-core Tegra 3 tablet next year

With the advent of the Tegra 3 processor, a new round of configuration upgrades has quietly kicked off. Following the announcement of Lenovo's Tegra3 tablet announcement at the end of this morning, Acer and HTC will release quad-core tablets next year.

Sources said that the Acer A500 upgrades A510 and A511 (3G) will be equipped with the Tegra 3 processor, with a screen resolution of 1280x800 pixels, running ice cream sandwich system, as other parameters are unclear. The two panels are expected to show up at CES Consumer Electronics Show in January next year.

At present, there is less information about the HTC quad-core tablet. It is only known that it may be unveiled at the MWC Mobile Communications World Congress in Barcelona next February.
