China's professional solution design and integrated circuit supplier Dingxin Technology (DXY) is currently launching a high-efficiency, high-linearity repeater PA for the WCDMA market. Dingxin Technology is NXP's first domestic microwave product (LDMOS, ADC / DAC) technical service provider.In this product, it combines NXP's high-performance RF power lateral diffusion transistor (LDMOS) and a new type of Scintera. Adaptive analog predistortion chip SC1887, and uses the popular Doherty technology in PA.
In this PA module, the SC1887 + BGA6589 + BLM6G22-30G + BLF7G22LS-130 * 2 Doherty scheme is adopted. Compared with the earlier single carrier (PAR = 10dB) PA, this scheme can increase the efficiency to 25%. By using NXP's BLF7G22LS-130 device, the efficiency of this PA has achieved a qualitative leap over the efficiency of the traditional back-off solution, and has changed some traditional views. Some designers believe that Scintera's chip only improves the signal with a low peak-to-average ratio, but it is not very obvious for the signal with high peak-to-average ratio. However, DXY Dingxin has proved through its own laboratory efforts: NXP's high-efficiency LDMOS and Scintera chips can cooperate well.
