How to improve our living environment with "Internet +"

The increase in environmental pollution has led to a continuous increase in the total market for environmental management systems. What opportunities and challenges will the environmental governance approach of the “Internet Plus” bring to the 13th Five-Year Plan?

From the perspective of industrial division, China's environmental monitoring is mainly divided into environmental quality testing and pollution source testing, while the latter includes detection of wastewater, sewage, waste gas and heavy metals. Environmental monitoring instruments are mainly composed of environmental monitors, environmental sensors and environmental software. Environmental sensors are primarily used for monitoring temperature, humidity, biological, chemical, and noise.

The 13th Five-Year Plan puts forward the “Internet Plus” environmental governance method, which is divided into four parts as shown in Figure 2: data collection part, network access part, data transmission part, and business management part. The collected information is transmitted through the Ethernet access network for data transmission, and finally the information display of the terminal is realized.

Relative to the atmosphere and soil pollution, the problem of water pollution is relatively straightforward. With the continuous deepening of environmental pollution control work, the provinces and cities across the country have also comprehensively carried out the layout of water quality monitoring work. Water treatment is mainly divided into urban sewage treatment (including industrial sewage) and rural sewage treatment.

Urban water pollution control plan

For urban sewage treatment plants, data acquisition and transmission instruments are generally used to collect relevant data, and work under the unified coordination and management of the unit with embedded controller as the core, and the data signals of the enterprise site are transmitted to the environmental protection department through the network, and the liquid crystal touch display screen is used. The data and status of the enterprise on-site monitoring equipment collected by the digital instrument are displayed for the enterprise to view on site, and the power module provides working power for the data acquisition device.
