The LTC3630 is a high efficiency, step-down DC/DC converter with an internal high-side and synchronous power switch that sinks only 12μA (typ) of DC supply current under no-load conditions while maintaining a constant output voltage.
The LTC3630 is capable of delivering up to 500mA of load current with a programmable peak current limit, providing an easy way to optimize efficiency and reduce output ripple and component size. The LTC3630 combines Burst Mode operation, integrated power switch, low quiescent current, and programmable peak current limit for high efficiency over a wide range of load currents.
With its wide input voltage range of 4V to 60V, the LTC3630 is a rugged converter suitable for regulating multiple power supplies. In addition, the LTC3630 features an accurate threshold and soft-start function to ensure that the power system startup operation is well controlled in any environment. A feedback comparator output allows multiple LTC3630s to be used in parallel in higher current applications.
The LTC3630 is available in thermally enhanced 3mm x 5mm DFN and MSE16 packages.
