Transformer gas relay operation regulations

During the normal operation of the transformer, the gas relay operates without any abnormalities. With regard to the operating status of the gas relay, the following regulations are provided for it:

1. When the transformer is operating, the gas protection should be connected to the signal and trip, and the gas protection of the on-load tap-changer should be connected to the trip.

Second, when the transformer is operating in the following work, the heavy gas protection should be changed to the signal:

1 When using a circuit breaker to control two transformers, when one of them is transferred to standby, the backup transformer heavy gas should be connected to the signal.

(2) When filtering, replenishing, substituting for the submersible oil pump or replacing the adsorbent of the oil purifier and opening and closing the valve on the gas relay connection pipe.

3 When working on gas protection and its secondary circuit.

4 When the bleed air, oil drain and oil inlet valves are open in all other places, except for the oil sample and the bleed valve bleed at the upper part of the gas relay.

5 When the oil level of the oil level gauge rises abnormally or there is an abnormal phenomenon in the suction and suction system, it is necessary to open the bleed air or drain valve.

3. During the earthquake prediction, the operating mode of heavy gas protection shall be determined according to the specific conditions of the transformer and the seismic performance of the gas relay. The transformer that causes the heavy gas protection operation to stop the operation of the earthquake should be checked before the commissioning of the transformer and gas protection. After confirming that there is no abnormality, the transformer can be put into operation.
