What's the killer for the iPhone 8? Apple wireless charging patent exposure

Citing the latest news from ubergizmo, Apple's wireless charging patent was exposed, which may mean that Apple is developing a wireless charger.

For a long time, Apple seems to be slow to beat the competition by adding new features to the product. Whether it is the front camera or support LTE network, even the most recent iPhone 7 officially joined the waterproof function.

Wireless charging is no longer new. Some Android phones also support this technology, but the iPhone has never been. From the perspective of the patent figure, Apple's wireless charging device has a cylindrical design and the interior accommodates wireless charging components.

Unlike traditional electromagnetic induction charging, Apple's base seems to use radio waves and magnetic resonance for charging, so it is more convenient to use than traditional wireless charging. Apple is considering the use of magnetic power to transfer power to the device without using the charger. At least until now it is a bit unbelievable.

This is likely to be Apple's big killer for the iPhone 8, but after all, the patent is still only a patent. When is it really possible to achieve wireless charging, it is still unknown.
