ODN, as an important part of FTTx system, is the physical channel of optical transmission between OLT and ONU. It is usually composed of optical fiber cable, optical connector, optical splitter, and supporting equipment for installation and connection of these devices. ODN includes five parts: feeder section, optical cable distribution point, distribution section, optical cable access point and household entry section. The feeder section from the ODF in the central office to the distribution point of the optical cable serves as the backbone optical cable to achieve long-distance coverage; the distribution section from the distribution point of the optical cable to the user access point distributes the fiber near the user area of ​​the feeder optical cable ; The access section from the user's access point to the terminal, to achieve fiber home access.
