The Luxembourg Pavilion - the Luxembourg National Pavilion will highlight the special national identity of Luxembourg known as the "Green Heart of Europe". The designers of the pavilion envisioned an engraving method that used almost exclusively monolithic boulder, which was actually influenced by the traditional Chinese translation of “Luxembourgâ€. The Chinese word "Luxembourg" means "forest and fortress", so the Luxembourg Pavilion is a modern open forest surrounded by green trees.

The main materials used will be steel, wood and glass, all of which are recyclable materials.
