"Twelfth Five-Year" Shaanxi Electric Power will invest 2.44 billion yuan to strengthen Shangluo Power Grid

On June 2nd, from the signing ceremony of Shaanxi Provincial Electric Power Company and Shangluo City jointly promoting the strategic cooperation agreement of Shangluo Power Grid, it was learned that during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, Shaanxi Provincial Electric Power Company will invest 2.44 billion yuan to strengthen Shangluo Power Grid, which will be Shangluo's local economy. The development will provide strong support, and the resilience of Shangluo Power Grid will also be greatly enhanced.

At the signing ceremony, Lv Chunquan, general manager of Shaanxi company, and Yang Jian, mayor of Shangluo City, signed the “Shaanxi Provincial Electric Power Company and Shangluo Municipal People's Government on Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement for Promoting the Construction of Shangluo Power Grid”. Deputy Mayor of Shangluo City, Gao Jian, and the municipal level Representatives of the relevant departments and counties (districts) signed the “Responsibility Document for the Grid Construction Project of 2011-2012 of Shangluo Power Grid”.

According to the agreement, these investments will be used in four aspects, of which 330kV grid construction will build two lines and two substations for a total of four power transmission and transformation projects to increase the capacity to transform a 330kV substation, which will increase Guanzhong Power Grid to Shangluo The power supply capacity of the power grid supports the development of the 330 kV and below power grids in the East of Shangluo and meets the development needs of the Shangluo region and the access needs of large-scale thermal power units. In terms of 110 kV, more than 20 new construction projects will be carried out, and reconstruction and expansion projects will be carried out to meet the electricity demand of key projects such as urban development, industrial parks, and Xikang and Xihe Railway, as well as access to renewable energy such as small hydropower. At the same time, the power distribution capacity of urban distribution networks and rural power grids will also be greatly increased. In order to ensure the development of the power grid, the Shangluo Municipal Government incorporated the Shangluo power grid development plan into the Shangluo City's national economic and social development plan, the city's overall plan, detailed city control regulations, and land use plans at all levels, and requested that all projects involved in the development plan of the power grid be related to the region. Planning and special planning should implement the reservation of the power transmission line corridors and site sites, and provide guarantee for the implementation of power grid planning. At the same time, implement the grid construction land, continue to strengthen the protection of power facilities, and severely crack down on criminal acts of theft and damage to power facilities.
