Fuse resistor detection method

Fuse resistor detection method

Fuse resistor detection. In the circuit, when the fuse resistor melts and disconnects, it can be distinguished based on experience: if it is found that the appearance of the fuse resistor is black or scorched, it can be judged that the load is too heavy, and its current exceeds many times over the extra value; If the surface is open without any traces, it indicates that the current flowing through is equal to or slightly larger than its additional fuse value. Regarding the appearance of the fuse resistor with no traces, the resolution of the fuse resistor can be measured by using a multimeter r×1 block. To ensure accurate measurement, one end of the fuse resistor should be soldered off from the circuit.

If the measured resistance is infinite, it is clarified that the fuse resistor has failed open circuit. If the measured resistance value is far from the nominal value, indicating the resistance variable value, it should not be used again. In the repair practice, it is found that there are also a small number of fuse resistors that are punctured in the circuit to be short-circuited, and the inspection should also be emphasized.
