At the exhibition held in Tokyo on April 15-17, 2009, Kaga components exhibited LED power supplies for lighting that lasted for more than 100,000 hours. The power supply is currently under development and this is the first time it has been exhibited at the show (the company). By using a circuit structure that is not equipped with an Electrolytic capacitor, the life is achieved over 100,000 hours. The miniaturization of the power supply circuit is also achieved.
The use of LED lighting has high environmental performance and is expected to become popular in the future. However, the commentator of Kaga's components said that in the past, the LED life of the LED itself has been 30,000 to 40,000 hours, and the power life of the LED is only 10,000 hours. This is because the life of the electrolytic capacitor in the power supply is only 10,000 hours. Since the Kaga components are currently being patented, the details of the circuit structure are inconvenient to disclose, but we have improved the circuit structure of the switching power supply to extend the life without using electrolytic capacitors (the company). By improving the circuit structure, the miniaturization of the power supply circuit is also achieved. The power supply size of this time is 43mm29mm8mm.
The power supply can be connected in parallel with 1 to 5 LEDs. The input voltage supports 100V and 200V. The maximum output current is 300mA DC and the maximum voltage is 20V. Equipped with on/off control function and output short circuit protection. The input and output modules are insulated and non-insulated. The price varies depending on the quantity, and is about 500 to 600 yen, which is equivalent to the original product.
