After the completion of the preliminary engineering design, expert demonstration, and pipeline laying project, as of the 12th, the optimization and upgrading project of Bayi Avenue in Nanchang City officially entered the main stage of installation of street lamps.
According to reports, the original streetlight facilities on Bayi Avenue were lighted in 2000. A total of 157 street lights were installed and it has been running for 10 years. Due to the limited technology and production process at that time, the luminous flux of the original street lamp has dropped to 50% at the beginning of the construction period, and the cable is aging.
As a supporting project for the optimization and upgrading project of Bayi Avenue, the streetlight renovation ranged from Yangming intersection of Bayi Avenue to Tanzikou section, with a total length of 3,800 meters. It is planned to install 180 base lamps, of which the steel poles are 15 meters high, and a total of more than 9,000 meters of pipelines are required. Considering the low-carbon sustainable development and the demonstration role of Bayi Avenue as the iconic road in Nanchang, the lamps all use led new energy-saving light source.
