Editor's note: 5G has become a hot word for mobile communication in 2017, not only because 5G will bring huge market capacity, but also because 5G is the backbone communication network that accelerates various Internet access in the Internet of Things era. At the MWC2017 conference, Qualcomm, Huawei, Ericsson and ZTE jointly announced support for accelerating the 5G NR standardization process to promote the large-scale trial and deployment of 5G new airspace as early as 2019. The 3GPP organization recently completed the first 5G standard, which is to promote the industry to continue to move forward.
Recently, 3GPP SA WG1 held a meeting to complete the 3GPP's first 5G specification: "Business Requirements for the Fifth Generation Mobile Communication System."
The specification includes requirements for 5G performance goals and basic functionality:
1, 5G should support fixed, mobile, wireless and satellite access technologies;
2, 5G should be a scalable, customizable network that can be customized for multiple types of services and vertical market (eg network layering, network function virtualization);
3. 5G should provide high resource utilization efficiency from low data IoT services and high bit rate multimedia services;
4. Energy efficiency and battery power optimization;
5, 5G should be third-party ISP and ICP open capabilities, such as enabling them to manage mesh slicing and deploying various applications in the mobile hosting operator's business hosting environment;
6, 5G should be able to support the remote UE connected to the 5G network through the relay UE (user terminal), and should be able to maintain the continuity of the direct connection and the indirect connection.
Moreover, 3GPP's first 5G standard "5G Service Requirements" also defines different scenarios (such as urban macrocells, remote macrocells, indoor hotspots) and applications (such as remote control, monitoring, intelligent transportation systems, tactile interactions, etc.) 5G network performance indicators.
MWC2017 many mobile communication providers push the 5G standardization process
On the first day of the MWC conference, a number of mobile communication companies announced that they would jointly support the acceleration of the 5G NR standardization process to promote the large-scale trial and deployment of 5G new airspace as early as 2019. The 22 companies that support the accelerated proposal include: AT&T, Japan Telecom Telephone Company, SK Telecom, Vodafone, Ericsson, Qualcomm, BT, Telstra, Korea Telecom, Intel, Huawei, and so on.
Intel introduced its latest fifth-generation wireless modem XMM7560 at this MWC, and Qualcomm also demonstrated the technical details and practical applications of the Gigabit LTE Modem at this MWC conference, and it was installed on the Snapdragon 835 processor. . The domestic manufacturer Huawei ZTE also provided technical support for 5G technology. Huawei exhibited the 5G cloud-based solution at this MWC. ZTE is the world's first key technology verification and success for 5G high-frequency and low-frequency fields. Nokia and MediaTek are also working together to complete the 5G HF field test. The 5G era is coming soon.
M23 series connectors provides a wide range of metric for small Sensors and actuators.The ingress protection is available and rated to IP 67, these connectors are ideally suited for industrial control networks where small sensors are required. Connectors are either factory TPU over-molded or panel receptacles supplied with sold-cup for wire connecting or with PCB panel solder contacts. Field attachable / mountable Connector is also available for your choice.
