I. Introduction

The instrument is manufactured according to the regulations of the Ministry of Communications industry standard T0621 asphalt standard viscosity test, used to determine the viscosity of liquid petroleum asphalt, coal asphalt, emulsified asphalt in the flowing state. The instrument is controlled by a microcomputer.

Third, the method of use

Before use, check whether the parts are normal, and pay attention to whether the water tank is clean and there is no obstacle in the oil tank hole. Test in the following order.

2. Remove the oil sump cover.

3. Select the diameter of the oil drain hole according to the marking and technical specifications of the test asphalt.

4. Block the drain hole with a metal lift rod.

5. Take the asphalt sample into the beaker and heat it to melt and pour into the oil tank.

According to the requirements of various asphalts, set the temperature setting: turn on the power switch and start heating; turn on the stirring switch, when the temperature is reached, keep the temperature constant for 1-3 minutes. Lift the ball plug and use the mark to hang on the side of the sample tube. When the sample flows into the receiving bottle or the measuring cylinder up to 25ml (the measuring cylinder scale is 50mL), take the time. When the sample flows out of 75mL (the measuring cylinder scale is 100mL), the timing is stopped. The time taken for the sample to flow out of 50 mL is taken as the viscosity of the sample. For details, see (T0621-93) in the Ministry of Communications Industry Standard JTJ052-2000 for testing.

Fourth, matters needing attention

1. The average value of the two parallel tests is used as the test result. The error between the two test results and the average value shall not exceed ± 5%.

2. After each test, the instrument should be wiped clean. Pay special attention to the fact that there should be no obstacles in the drain hole, otherwise the accuracy of the test will be affected.

3. Avoid rubbing with hard things in the drain hole to prevent the geometric accuracy of the hole.

4. The instrument should be placed in a dry and ventilated place.

5. The asphalt viscometer produced by our company is not equipped with a measuring cylinder.
